Let's Celebrate!

At Burpham, we have lots to celebrate! This page is a place to recognise those who really go 'over and above'.

Throughout the year, children may be invited to join our Headteacher for a hot chocolate. Children can be nominated by any adult in the school for any reason, as long as they have demonstrated something brilliant!

This week the following children were nominated for a hot chocolate but given the weather we had an ice lolly instead!

Charlie from Puffins for impressing his teachers with his writing in phonics

Valentin from Wrens for trying really hard with his letter formation

Iver from Ospreys for displaying a really good attitude and work ethic in class

Layla from Finches for being consistently ready, respectful and safe and for trying so hard

Martha from Woodpeckers for showing resilience in her writing lessons

Lydia from Robins for making a real effort to ignore disractions

Daniel from Kingfishers for making huge progress across the curriculum

Aleena from Nightingales for being brave like Bonkers in her learning

Harper from Falcons for working really hard in Maths at school and home

Duru from Nightingales for excellent progress in English and Maths and a more mature attitude to learning

Check out the gallery below  to see a small selection of images from our whole school reward afternoon.  Children joined in activities across the school as a reward for all the Burpham points earned last term. There was lots on offer for the children to choose from ranging from chess, Lego, dancing, construction, den building, PE, coding and more. A well-deserved and fun afternoon was had by all!
