Let's Celebrate!

At Burpham, we have lots to celebrate! This page is a place to recognise those who really go 'over and above'.

Once a month, children may be invited to join our Headteacher for a hot chocolate. Children can be nominated by any adult in the school for any reason, as long as they have demonstrated something brilliant!

It's been so hot so we swapped our hot chocolates for an ice lolly - no one seemed to mind!

June and July's hot chocolate nominees were:

Sophie in in Y6 for working hard and displaying a mature attitude this year

Darcie in Y5 for always having a go and doing her best

Lottie in Y5 for working so hard in every lesson and taking part

Harrison in Y5 for excellent progress in resilience, attitude to learning, focus and writing stamina

Ellis in Y4 for excellent behavioyr and always trying his hardest

Lara in Y4 for always working hard and being a good friend

Lucian in Y3 for always working hard and trying his best in everything

Finn in Y2 for working hard and demonstrating resilience and managing change

Sophia in YR for working really hard

Joshua in YR for excellent participation and engagement in Phonics

Check out the gallery below  to see a small selection of images from our whole school reward afternoon.  Children joined in activities across the school as a reward for all the Burpham points earned last term. There was lots on offer for the children to choose from ranging from chess, Lego, dancing, construction, den building, PE, coding and more. A well-deserved and fun afternoon was had by all!
