Let's Celebrate!
At Burpham, we have lots to celebrate! This page is a place to recognise those who really go 'over and above'.
Once a month, children may be invited to join our Headteacher for a hot chocolate. Children can be nominated by any adult in the school for any reason, as long as they have demonstrated something brilliant!
February's hot chocolate nominees were:
Betty in Year 6 for always putting 100% effort into everything she does and being really kind.
Belle in Year 6 for consistently demonstrating a mature attitude to learning and always trying her best.
Charlie in Year 5 for always trying his very best and for being kind and supportive to everyone in the class.
Lula in Year 5 for producing exemplary work in all lessons, helping others, and consistently being ready, respectful and safe.
Edward in Year 5 for consistently being ready, respectful and safe in school and always trying to do his very best work. You never give up!
Annie in Year 4 for consistently being hard working, ready to learn and kind to everyone in class.
Jennifer in Year 4 for always being ready, respectful and safe and challenging herself in her learning.
Alex in Year 3 for consistently being ready to learn, trying his hardest with every piece of work and being a kind and respectful friend.
Harley Lukas in Year 2 for using his talent in Maths to support his peers in clever and considerate ways.
Rayaan in Year 2 for always being ready, respectful and safe and a fantastic role model.
Eve in Year R for always following our ready, respectful, safe rules and trying her best.
Toby in Year R for trying really hard in phonics, joining in with everything and being ready for his learning.
Check out the gallery below to see a small selection of images from our whole school reward afternoon. Children joined in activities across the school as a reward for all the Burpham points earned last term. There was lots on offer for the children to choose from ranging from chess, Lego, dancing, construction, den building, PE, coding and more. A well deserved and fun afternoon was had by all!
